Cleanliness is second only to Godliness in importance. This is a sentence we've all heard before. Do we, however, adhere to this? Many individuals do not, despite the fact that we should. Some of us, on the other hand, don't even appreciate the trash collectors. There are a lot of cons to not maintaining cleanliness. Cleanliness should be followed by everyone. Let’s find out more about it.

Introduction to Cleanliness

Cleanliness entails the absence of dirt, dust, stains, and foul odors. Health, attractiveness, the absence of disagreeable odors, and the prevention of the spread of dirt and pollutants to oneself and others are the aims of cleanliness.

With the help of cleanliness, we can keep our physical and mental health in good shape, which will make us feel good. Cleanliness develops a great character by keeping the body, mind, and soul clean and calm. Cleaning is a vital part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle since it is only through cleaning that we can improve our personalities by keeping them clean both on the outside and on the inside.

Everyone has a responsibility to maintain themselves and their surroundings clean and sanitary. It also promotes healthy and optimistic ideas in the head, which helps to reduce illness incidence.

Importance of Cleanliness

In our day-to-day lives, cleanliness and neatness are essential. It is critical because it protects against deadly infections such as Dengue fever, typhoid, hepatitis, and other diseases spread by mosquito bites, among others.

Jaundice, Cholera, Ascariasis, Leptospirosis, Ringworm, Scabies, Schistosomiasis, Trachoma, and other diseases can be spread by contaminated food, polluted water, or living in an unsanitary environment. Trash also emits a foul odour that is difficult to bear. If no efforts are made to keep the area clean, garbage and filth will accumulate.

There are a few good habits that should be followed.

The following are some of the healthy behaviours you should practise:

1. Before eating, one should always wash their hands.

2. Brush your teeth at least twice a day.

3. There should be no littering.

4. Every day, you must take a bath.

5. It's also crucial to wash your hands once you've finished playing.

6. It's also important to cover your lips while yawning or cover your nose when sneezing.

7. If a person's home is infested with bugs and rodents, they must get rid of them as quickly as possible.

8. Always keep your food covered.
